  • "How Should Lava Jato End?" book chapter, joint with Matthew Stephenson (forthcoming)

The Car Wash (Lava Jato) scandal, beginning in Brazil and extending across all of South America, is the largest corruption scandal in modern memory. In this chapter of an edited volume about the Lava Jato scandal, Matthew Stephenson and I discuss how countries can move forward after large-scale corruption scandals and investigations.

The Global Anticorruption Blog discusses corruption around the world through law, social science, and policy lenses. I am a regular contributor on corruption-related events and research in Latin America.
